GARDENS
Faven's 2012 Summer collection goes through the gardens of Keukenhof, in Holland, Giverny, in France, and is inspired by the greatness and organized landscaping done by Burle Marx. All the flowers are placed in the outfits through prints, jacquard and embroidery.
The colors chart is based upon the flowers from these gardens and the fruits, that become part of it by mixing itself in the prints. Orange and pink are the main colors at this collection. Blues and greens are also part of it, and whites on the laces. The chosen fabrics are silks for the fluid pieces, tricoline for the shirts, linen get mixed with lighter fabrics, and cotton for the deconstructed and wider proportions. And as always, as in Faven's DNA, tricot has great power in this summer. Ligher and colorful stripes, great success in this season, get coordinated with prints. Lace tricot with manually applied guipir flowers provide a feminine touch to the collection.
Key-itens: wide dresses, pantaloon trousers, shirt, chemises and body suits.
